Registration open: Join the AI4AL Final Event at the ALL DIGITAL Summit 2024 in Madrid on 17 October!

AI4AL is delighted to invite you to its final event to take place on 17 October within the ALL DIGITAL Summit 2024: Summit of Engaged Digital Citizenship in Madrid. Starting on Tuesday 15 October at the Caixa Forum Madrid and continuing for the following two days at La Nave Madrid (La Nave Boetticher), the summit is co-hosted by ALL DIGITAL and its Spanish member Fundación Esplai.

About AI4AL project

AI-based solutions can transform adult learning provision by leading to improved skills assessment and tailor-made learning opportunities. Although the potential of AI for the Adult Learning and Education (ALE) sector is undeniable, it remains largely untapped. At the same time, most adult educators express their mistrust towards AI. The adult educators need to be equipped with new skills to be able to apply AI in ALE. The AI4AL project aims to facilitate the mindful adoption of AI technologies in the ALE sector.

During our final event in Madrid, we will present our project outcomes to support adult educators in their journey to integrate AI in their daily practices:

  • Engagement kit with a methodology for adult educators for mindful adoption of AI technologies in their practices,
  • AI4AL Matching tool to match skills of learners with learning opportunities and job profiles that is currently being tested by adult educators.
  • A training toolkit and self-paced learning path for adult educators to integrate AI in their daily practice and learn how they can use the AI4AL matching tool.

Angeliki Giannakopoulou from EAEA, leading our project, and Christoph Bretgeld from SkillLab, leading the development of our AI-based tool, will address the summit participants with a keynote speech and a panel discussion respectively.

This will be followed by two workshop sessions aiming at an interactive exchange with adult educators with hands-on experience of our engagement kit and training path through the facilitation of our expert partners on adult learning and AI-based tools.

Check out the details of our workshops below and register to the event for free from the link at the end of the page!

Workshop: A hands-on experience for adult educators on the Engagement kit and AI-based tool matching skills to career and training paths

17 October 2024, 14:45-15:30, La Nave Madrid

Valentina Brilli, EGInA (moderator) and Sylvana Hiltrop, SkillLab (presentation)

AI4AL developed a methodology for direct involvement of adult educators in the process of adopting AI-based technologies and developed an AI-based tool matching the skills of learners with career paths and training opportunities.

Come and join this session to have a hands-on experience of the AI4AL matching tool and create learning scenarios that can inspire you to offer innovative learning experiences!
